Picnic Desserts #1: Quick and Quick Peanut Butter Cookies

These delicious cookies are incredibly very easy to make, however they taste terrific. Plus, you can pack them up and carry them wherever you want to go with out having to worry about them spoiling or melting in the heat. To make these cookies, you will want the following ingredients:

- 1 cup of peanut butter (I favor smooth, but chunky works terrific too)- 1 cup of sugar- 1 huge egg- A pinch of cinnamon (optional)

Basically, all you have to do is mix together the peanut butter, sugar, and egg (and cinnamon) till you come up with a smooth batter. Then, take a cookie sheet and location the batter on it in modest balls, about one-inch or so wide. Spread them out with sufficient room so that they do not cook into every single other. Then take a fork and press down on best of them. Turn the fork to the side and press down again so you have a crosshatch pattern. Then, just bake them in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 11-12 minutes. You do not want these to brown, although, so watch the oven till they are completed.

Picnic Desserts #two: Jam Jams

These soft, jam-filled cookies are a bit diverse from typical cookies. They are exceptionally delicious, although, and will give a sweet treat your guests are sure to appreciate. To make jam jams, you will want the following ingredients:

- two cups of flour (white)

- teaspoon of salt

- teaspoon of baking soda

- teaspoon of baking powder

- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

- cup of powdered sugar

- tablespoon of light brown sugar

- three ounces of cream cheese

- 1 cup of softened butter (with out salt)

- 1 huge egg

- Jams (apricot, plum, blackberry, cherry, strawberry, grape, and so on)

Right here is how you make these. Initially, you will want to set your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, combine the baking soda, baking powder, flour, and salt and mix together. In one more bowl, combine each kinds of sugar with the butter and an egg yolk and mix properly. Add in the cream cheese and vanilla by beating it, and then add in the cinnamon. Mix properly till you get a good and smooth mixture.

Soon after 7-9 minutes, make balls of dough with your hands that are about an inch or so wide. Then, location these on your cookie sheet (I advise spraying it with non-stick initially) and, employing your thumb, make pits or depressions in the center. This is where your jam will go.

Bake your jam jams for about 10-12 minutes. You will know they are completed when the edges of the cookies are brown and the dough is cooked (however not brittle). Soon after letting them cool off, they are prepared to serve.I hope you liked these Picnic Dessert Recipes
